Staff was very friendly and helpful, hotel is in a nice central location for getting to many of the main Athens tourist destinations. We were able to walk to many of our destinations, or take very quick taxi rides to get to anything else. Included breakfast was also good, and enjoyed use of the rooftop in the evenings for drinks and views of the city and the Acropolis. Also really liked having a small balcony on our room to get some fresh air.

Amanda

We booked an Acropolis view room. The view from the tiny balcony was wonderful...but could see nothing from inside the room. Breakfast in the breakfast room was adequate, and although small, we always found a table. Staff (Alexandra) was always welcoming. We were able to walk everywhere...the Plaka, Lykabettus Hill, National Gardens etc. Nearby cheap restaurants...eg Bread Factory, Alexander the Great and the Grill place next to it.

Anne

The rooms were basic , but very clean , fresh towels and rooms cleaned daily, even a fridge and safe . Breakfast was buffet style , very fresh and plenty of choice. All the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly . Close to all public transport and the stop for the Hop on/off bus around the corner Lots of lovely restaurants close by too All our party thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Apollo and would recommend. Good value for money

Joan

The proximity to the hop-on hop-off bus was very convenient because we used it daily. There are also a couple of bakeries very near and cafes The front desk person during the day, EFFIE, was very helpful and gave great suggestions and( beautiful). We had the 3 bedroom apartment and it was large enough to accommodate 8 adults. It could use a small sofa tho .

Juanita

the staff was always ready to help, be it with any queries or printing out the return boarding pass, and little glitches like the safety box key not working were sorted within half an hour. Roof terrace evening bar had a lovely atmosphere and view across the whole city, and we could even see the Acropolis from our 3rd floor balcony
